The availability of rare flora and fauna and protected within the Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark area is commonly spread in several conservation areas. Rare and protected fauna commonly live in nature reserves, wildlife reserves, and national parks, among them are : several species of Green Turtles, Long-tailed Monkeys, Javanese Owa, Leopard, Raptor (Javan hawk eagle, snake eagle, eagle Brontok). Rangkok, Julang Emas , black tiger, and others. The rare and endemic flora of geopark areas are also scattered in several conservation areas, especially in the National Park and Nature Reserve, some of them are : Raflesia Padma, Kepuh, several varieties of bamboo including Bamboo Haur Gereng, Black Bamboo, various orchids, mushrooms and rattan.
